Captains Run 2026
Hawksbury residents were so generously invited to attend the Captains Run held at Apollo Project Stadium on Thursday 2nd April.
This marked a significant event as this was the Crusaders' final training ahead of their final game at Apollo Stadium. This stadium was built in 90 days as a temporary location for us to hold our games for the Cantabrians of Christchurch. The Crusaders played at Apollo stadium for 14 years following the earthquakes.
The residents supported by staff were privileged to attend the training session and get photos with the trophies and signatures and photos with the Crusaders. Many of the residents brought along their Crusaders apparel for signatures.
All who attended enjoyed a hot drink of their choice and a yummy pie all supplied by the Crusaders.
