On 22nd February 2025, Bruce celebrated turning 70 in style at the Gardens Restaurant in Christchurch. Dressed to impress in a carefully chosen outfit, he welcomed his sister, close friends, and family to join him in commemorating this special milestone.
The celebration was full of thoughtful gifts, great food—including chicken, hot chips, sweet treats, and drinks—and plenty of music to keep the party lively. Bruce was overjoyed throughout the day, proudly exclaiming, “It’s MY BIRTHDAY, MY BIRTHDAY!” to anyone who’d listen.
